Visitation will be 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 30, at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO 64145. A Celebration of Dorothy’s Life will follow at 10:30 a.m. Inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery, Bolivar, MO.
Dorothy was born to Roscoe and Katherina Guinn on March 10, 1930, in Bolivar, MO. She graduated from high school, attended S.W. Baptist College and later taught school in a one-room school house. She married James E. Osborn in 1953 and later divorced. Dorothy was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, George Guinn and Roscoe J. Guinn. She is survived by her two sons Rocky (Karen) Osborn and Mike (Jeanna) Osborn; seven grandchildren Whitney (Michael) Riscoe, Cristen (Pat) Frederick, Blair Osborn, Derik Osborn, Dustin Rocky Osborn, Casey (Sarah) Osborn, and Cody Osborn; and ten great grandchildren.
