Dorothy Marie Sells

Dorothy “Dottie” Marie Sells, left this life to be with her Lord her husband, Edward, and her daughter, Candy, October 29, 2016. Visitation will be held at 1PM on Saturday, November 5, at Floral Hills Chapel. Funeral begins at 2pm with burial following at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Grandmother devoted herself to her children and grandchildren. Any free time she had was spent volunteering at Hope House and other charities. She had a passion for sculpting, winning many awards. She enjoyed home decorating, her flower gardens, and listening to the birds sing. Dottie, her husband Edward and sister Barbara, grew a large extended family. The joys of her life were her children; each with their own special name: Braddio, Candy Cane, and Chaddio. She made sure that her grandchildren and great grandchildren knew how much she loved them, also giving them special names. You knew that she loved you and considered you family when you were given a special name. Dottie is survived by two sons, Brad and his wife, Debbie, and Chad; sister, Barbara Sims and husband, Jim; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
