Dorothy Drake Wheatley, Belton, MO, passed away February 16, 2013 at Beautiful Savior Home in Belton. Dorothy was born May 22, 1923 in Bath, NY, the daughter of Franklin "Frank" Spencer Drake, Jr. and Zella Green Roessel. Dorothy enjoyed life! She sang every chance she had in piano bars around the country. She also was quite the ballroom dancer.
She is survived by daughters Jacqui (Walter) Wheatley Giuffrida of Tulalip, WA, and Jenny (Karl) Wheatley Augustin of Belton, MO; by her sister Linda (Ken) Roessel Wiggins of New Berlin, NY; and grandson John W.
