He is preceded in death by his father Barney, one infant brother Marlin and his grandparents, Henry and Tess Karber and Samuel and Alvena Coburn.
He is survived by his partner Doug Smothers of Topeka. His mother JoAnn Karber of Salina. His sisters, Sue Brax of Savannah, MO and Glenda Reeves of Overland Park, KS. One brother Edward Karber of Englewood, CO. As well as his nieces and nephews, Curtis And Cyle Kitchen, Courtney Armstrong and Rebecca and Nick Karber.
