

Earl graduated from East High School, Kansas City, Missouri. He was a member of the Army National Guard. In 1961, he married Geraldine Wilson. Together they had Dean {Linda} Miller, and twins Peggy and Marilyn Miller. He worked at Kim Manufacturing Co. followed by the Ford Motor Company, Claycomo, Missouri, where he retired in 1999.
After Geraldine’s death in 1995, he met and married Charlotte Vandrell in 1999. He joined Charlotte on her farm near Weston, Missouri, where they continued to live until he passed.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Mildred Miller; his first wife, Geraldine Miller; his brother, Gayle Miller; his sister, Maxcine Tate; daughter, Marilyn Miller; and step-son, Jerry Collier.
Earl leaves his wife, Charlotte, of the home; his children, Dean {Linda} Miller and Peggy Miller; his stepchildren, John {Kim} Collier and Sally Collier; his grandchildren, Stephanie {Alex} Jacques, Patrick [Carolyn} Miller, Dr. Christopher Miller, and Spencer Miller; step-grandchildren, Bianca Collier, Tory {Zack} Pasch, Kaleb {fiancée Emily Summers} Collier, Lexi {Cara} Collier, and McClain Zendejas; and great-grandsons Zachary and Elliott Jacques.
Earl was a member of the Platte County Steam Engine Club, the Weston Historical Museum, and attended Salem Christian Church in Weston, Missouri, for many years.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, with Visitation beginning at 9:30 am, followed by Funeral Service at 10:30 am in the chapel at Newcomer’s Floral Hills, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, Missouri, with Hospice Chaplain Charles {Andy} Campbell officiating.
Burial will be in his family plot in Floral Hills Cemetery in the presence of the immediate family at a date to be determined.
