Earl Moffett was born August 5, 1947, to the union of Hamilton and Virginia Moffett in Kansas City, Missouri. He moved to Raytown, Missouri with his wife and first daughter in 1972, where he lived until his passing.
Earl was a proud Boy Scout, earning the honor of Eagle Scout. Known as “Little Living Cedar” in Tribe of Mic-O-Say, he earned his claws the hard way. He was also proud to be a member of Pipefitters Local 533, working in the HVAC industry for nearly 4 decades.

A light went out on earth,
The day we said goodbye
And on that day a star was born,
The brightest in the sky
Reaching through the darkness
With its rays of purest white
Lighting up the Heavens
As it once lit up our lives
With beams of love to heal
The broken hearts you left behind
Where always in our memory
Your lovely star will shine
