Edith Mae Harrison, 92, passed away January 13, 2012. Edith was born July 31, 1919 to James and Myrtle Wright of Lowry City, Missouri. She was a loving wife and mother and will always be in the hearts of her family. Edith retired from Bendix and is a fifty-year veteran of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Glenn Eugene "Gene" Harrison. Two sons; Ronald of Belton, Missouri and Robert of Independence, Missouri; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren survive her.
Visitation will held Friday, January 20th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, MO 64145. Burial will follow the funeral service at Belton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Hospice, 9237 Ward Parkway, Ste. 300, Kansas City, MO 64114.
