Edward Patrick Griffith went to Jesus on November 4th, 2020, after a long battle with Alzheimer's, which he fought with grace and dignity. Eddie was proceeded in death by his parents, Ann and Dom Griffith, his brother, Jim Griffith, and his son-in-law, Jeff Brown. Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Patti Griffith, his precious daughters, Staci Brown and Cheri Griffith, and his wonderful grandchildren, Ryan and Mandi Brown. Eddie also leaves behind his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Peggy Griffith. Eddie worked for years as a civil engineer for the city of Kansas City, Missouri, and he loved his profession.
Thanks to Eddie’s old and dear friends, who gave us so much love and support over the years. To our second family at the Villages of Jackson Creek Memory Care, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for loving Mr. Ed; we love you all. Sweetheart and daddy, our hearts are broken and we will miss you forever.
The family will celebrate Eddie’s life at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
