Edward Dennis Northington, Jr.

Edward Dennis Northington, Jr, 75, of Lake of the Ozarks, Mo, passed away Monday June 13, 2016, at Essentia Health in Deer River, Minn. He was visiting Lake Winnie on a family fishing trip. A visitation will be held at noon and a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 at McGilley State Line Chapel, 12301 State Line Road, Kansas City, Mo. Cremation. A reception will follow at RCs. In lieu of flowers you can help us with charitable donations. We will be donating fishing and boating equipment to Wonderland Camp for children and supplies to S.T.A.F.F. animal shelter, both at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Ed was born September 10, 1940, in Kansas City, Mo., son of the late Edward and Mary Northington. He enjoyed lake life, boating, hunting, fishing, music and dancing. He loved spending time with friends and family, most especially his grandchildren.

Ed is preceded in death by his wife, Vicki. He is survived by daughter Kelly White (Tim) of Kansas City; daughter Tracey Waheed (Rauf) of Houston, and daughter Ami Schroeder (Jamie) of Lake of the Ozarks; six grandchildren, Ava Schroeder, Jacob, Matthew, and Jeffrey Gerken, Mercedes and Ashley White. Also surviving Ed is his sister Marilyn (Jim) of Eudora, Ks, and many other relatives and friends.
