

Eileen Weimar, 93, of Blue Springs, MO passed away on Sunday, July 19th, 2009 at her home at St. Mary's Manor. Services will be Friday July 24th, 2009. Visitation will be from 9am to 10 am, Mass immediately following at 10am at St. Catherine of Siena at 4101 East 105th Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64137. The burial service will be at Mount Olivet after Mass. The church will provide a lunch immediately following the burial services for family and friends at St. Catherine's.
Eileen was born June 3, 1916 in Seneca, KS to Frank and Mary Gaume. She graduated from Hamilton High Schood in Hamilton, MO and attended Chillicothe Business School. She moved to Kansas City, MO in 1937 and worked for the Federal Reserve of Kansas City for approximately nine years. She married the love of her life, William Weimar, on September 30th, 1950 and had three children. She was a member of Coronation Catholic Church and St. Catherine of Siena. She worked at Hickman Mills School District and volunteered her services to St. Joseph Hospital, The Jackson County Board of Elections, and to the Altar Society at St. Catherine's and other senior citizen groups. She loved the Lord, the Catholic Church, the company of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband William, sister, Evelyn Stutz, and brothers: Lester, Jack, Robert and Edward Gaume. She is survived by her children; Geralyn and Michael Boyer of Blue Springs, MO, Daniel and Christine Weimar of Pleasant Hill, MO, and Gary and Susan Weimar of Peculiar, MO along with eight grandchildren and 1 great grandchild as well as numerous other members of the family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Alzheimer's Unit at St. Mary's Manor and the services of Crossroads Hospice for their great dedication to the care of the people they serve. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association; Heart of America Chapter or Crossroads Hospice in Eileen's name.
