

She grew up in the small town of Home, Kansas. She was baptized and confirmed at Friedens Lutheran Church. Elaine attended college, met her husband, Ray H. Nolen and they were married May 5, 1956. Ray and Elaine enjoyed many activities together. One of them being motorcycle riding. She took great pleasure in her own Harley Davidson.
Elaine was a McLaury real estate agent, a model of jewelry and hats, and did clerical work for roughly 25 years for an optometrist office.
Elaine was an involved member of Peace Lutheran Church in Kansas City where she met many of her closest friends. She served in many ways at Peace and was involved in LWML , Alpha Circle, OWLS and always volunteered to help in the Church office. She was a long-standing member of the Odd Fellows. Elaine loved her cat, “Mrs. Riley”, and was very devoted to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Verna Zech , her sister Shirley Krahl, and her husband, Ray Nolen. She is survived by her niece, Debbie Krahl, and her nephew, Gary Krahl.

Visitation will begin at 9:30 am
Funeral Services at 10:30 am
Following the funeral service Elaine will be laid to rest at Mount Moriah Cemetery at 10507 Holmes Rd. Kansas City, Missouri 64131.
Lunch will be served in the fellowship hall after the graveside service.
