From the beginning of her life’s journey, Elaine would leave a lasting impression on the hearts of those who knew her.
Throughout her life, Elaine demonstrated the importance of family, strength, and togetherness. She was a woman whose presence brought warmth to those around her, and her life was filled with moments that created lasting memories for her family and friends.
Elaine met and married Willard Terrell. To this union, eight children were born. As a wife and mother, Elaine experienced many chapters of life, creating memories that would become part of her family’s history. Her presence, guidance, and the moments shared with her children will forever remain a part of their lives.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, George Eskridge and Elnora Blackshire; two sisters; one brother; and her daughter, Yolanda, affectionately known as “DeeDee.”
Elaine leaves behind cherished memories that will continue through her husband, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of family members, and all those whose lives she touched.
As we reflect upon Elaine’s life, we remember the years shared with her, the lessons learned, and the memories that will never fade. Although her presence will be greatly missed, her family finds comfort in the Bible’s promise of a resurrection and the hope of seeing their loved ones again.
Revelation 21:4
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.
