Eleanor V. Gray passed away July 6th at John Knox Village Care Center. She was 92. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18th at Christ the King Catholic Church, 8510 Wornall Rd., Kansas City, MO 64114; burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Eleanor was born in New York City to John and Delia Gray. She went to work for AT&T at the beginning of WWII and remained working for them until her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Mary and a brother, Jack.
She was a long time member of Christ the King Catholic Church and of the AT&T Pioneers Club. Eleanor was also a volunteer at St. Joseph's hospital and Little Sisters of the Poor. She will be remembered as a genteel lady who was proud of her Irish culture.
