Elizabeth Eileen “Bette” Miller, 86, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away January 29, 2016 at her home. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. -11:45 a.m. with rosary at 11:45 a.m. immediately followed by the funeral service at12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 6, 2016, at Mount Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64131. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Bette was born on December 5, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Jean and Julia (Riordan) Koeneke. She attended Assumption Grade School in Northeast Kansas City, Bishop Lillis High School and Research Nursing School where she earned her nursing degree.
She was preceded in death by her husband William S. (Billy) Miller of 55 years. Bette is survived by her son Chris Miller; daughter Julie Miller; brother William “Bill” Koenke and wife Marilyn. Bette loved her family, faith and nursing family.
