For the last five years she has been teaching third grade at Martin Warren Elementary School in Warrensburg, Missouri. She had many wonderful students and coworkers with whom she enjoyed working with very much.
Elizabeth was a woman of faith and she continued in her faith throughout her life. While attending UCM, she was an active member of the Restoration Campus Ministries where she made many lifelong friends. She attended the Church of Jesus Christ Warrensburg Restoration Branch for the last several years. She actively served in the youth camping program by staffing camps and retreats every year. She was much loved as a counselor, cook, and camp log leader and she touched many lives through this ministry. She was an intern in 2010 in the Book of Mormon foundation and always said that was the best experience of her life. Her faith in Jesus is a strength to the family who look forward to seeing her again in heaven someday.
Elizabeth loved her family very much and talked to her mother every day even when the miles separated them. When she was not working, she was always helping her family with projects. She loved her nieces and nephews and would do anything for them. She spent countless hours watching them and taking them on activities. One favorite memory is how she would take them to build-a-bear when they turned five years old. Elizabeth also had many wonderful friends with who she kept in close contact through phone, text and planned outings.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Clyde and Leota Reed and her maternal grandfather Russell Lewis. She is survived by her parents Avery and Cheryl Reed, her sister Monica Twombly and husband Brian and their children Samuel and Caroline, her brother Nathan Reed and wife Mary and their children Madelyn and Joshua, her grandmother Lucille Lewis, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.
