Betty was a dear friend and a beloved family member of mine for forty three years. I feel  so blessed to have visited with her recently.  Such a sweet memory and a special time.

Betty was unfailingly kind, loving, and wise.  I aspire to be half as admirable in my friends and family's eyes as Betty was in mine.  I will treasure our relationship and times together until we are together again in heaven.

Betty was a great woman and I feel very fortunate to have known her.  She was joyful, inquisitive, caring, possessing a lust for life that flowed freely to others.  She  loved her books, discussing issues, the  great outdoors, sports and physical activity, her  students, her friends, and  her dear family.   Her laughter will be missed , as well,, but her inspirational role modeling with last forever for those of us fortunate enough to have known her.

Betty was certainly worthy of these glowing words!  However, there are not enough words in any language to describe what a special lady Betty was and her loving friendship (and that of the entire Vandever family) will forever play a central role in my life.  I am so very thankful for all the wonderful memories that began in Elementary School and continue onward.
Know that each one of Betty's family (and Betty always made me feel a part of her family!) are in my daily prayers.

Betty was a vivacious, witty, and endearing woman who loved life and those around her.  She will be long remembered and greatly missed.

Aunt Betty was such a wonderful person and a very accomplished woman, she will be missed by so many.  I know that she and Hannah are together now and are watching over us all.   Rest in Piece

A great lady ahead of her time and a joy to know. Will miss her on Romany Rd.
