Elizabeth Ruth (Betty) Welch, 88 of Kansas City, Mo. passed away on February 9, 2013. Funeral Services will be at 10:30, Saturday February 16, at Northgate Baptist Church, 800 NE Vivion Road KCMO 64118 (816) 453-4056, preceded by visitation at 9:30 a.m., burial in Mount Moriah Terrace Park Cemetery. Betty is survived by her daughters Judy (Joe) Graham, Janet (Ron) Zupon, son, Jim (Denise) Welch, six grandchildren and families and one great grandchild. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Clyde Welch. Betty was an educator in the northland providing substitute teaching services to the North Kansas City School District for over 20 years. In lieu of flowers, gifts to Northgate Baptist Church or NorthCare Hospice are suggested.
