Elmer F. Foster, 77, of Grandview, Missouri, passed away Friday, August 26, 2011 at St. Joseph Health Center. There will be no services at this time. Mr. Foster was born October 6, 1933 in Tewksburg, Massachusetts, son of Forrest Elmer and Lillian (Brooks) Foster. He had worked as a weatherman/programmer for the government. Mr. Foster served his country in the United States Air Force. He is survived by his wife Mona (Jodon) Foster; two sons Tim Foster and wife Becky of Overland Park, Kansas and Kevin Foster of Grandview, Missouri; daughter Tammy Foster of Grandview; one brother Donald Foster; three sisters Marie King, Florence Curley and Shirley Staples; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
