Our deepest sympathies to the Briones family. For years at Guadalupe Center, we usually sat at Elvira's table and had many lively lunchtime conversations with her. She told us that when she was a newlywed, she was very proud of the light that her husband installed on their front porch, and that they had the first porch light on her block in Armourdale. We will always cherish the good times and the beautiful stories that she told us about her life. I (Alfredo) remember dancing with her at a holiday party at the Center. We had a lot of fun, and I remember she was a fantastic dancer! I'll always have fond memories of her and keep her close to my heart. I feel very blessed and fortunate to have known such a classy lady.

My Condolences To All The Briones Family,
Thank you for sharing your mother's journey on Facebook. All those beautiful family photos surely showed the family love towards your beautiful mother and her loving family.

I was talking to my mother, Velia Marie Ochoa, yesterday and she reminisced about how your mother was known to be the most beautiful woman in Kansas in their younger years. Your mother continued to radiate through her 93 beautiful years.

I read your mother's obituary this morning, and just wanted to reach out to you and express how sorry I was to hear the sad news of her passing. I know how devoted you all were to her, and how much you all loved her, and how much you will miss her.
I will keep you all in my prayers, and may she now rest in peace.

John and I are out of town and will not be able to attend her services.

Love,
Jeannie
