Eric was born on 4 Dec. 1968 in Schleswig Germany. Eric was almost 5 when we moved to the USA. He did not speak English until the fall when he entered the school system at Ruhl school, He learned quickly and had a command of English. He continued with the public school system through Southwest high school where he graduated in 1987. During his junior and senior year he worked part time at a greenhouse to pay for his auto insurance. Post high school he was employed at St. Luke’s pharmacy, then Shawnee Mission pharmacy. During this time he was into small car racing and fixing up his car for the races costs money. He did everything that needed repair or replacement on his car. Later in life he worked with auto supply company, Drive time and Cargo Largo. When Drive time stopped he went to work at Molle Toyota in the parts department and loved it. The past 3 years have been rough on him starting with a brown recluse spider bite on his little toe. Unaware of the bite until the skin and tissue began to rot. Then things began to fall apart; his diabetes was out of control, his kidneys were affected, eye damage and multiple circulatory issues. He was a champion and tried to be champion of all the issues. Eric was a true gentleman and kind. He will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
