The family of Erma Louise Blevins of Raytown, Mo are announcing her entrance into her heavenly home from the Health and Rehabilitation Center of Autumn Terrance on Monday, June 12, 2023 at the age of 87 following a brief illness. She resided at Temple Heights apartments prior to her illness.
Preceding her in death was her husband, James Blevins of Kansas City, both of her parents James and Velma Smith, brother Donald Smith all from Butler, Pa.
Erma is survived by a son Randy Blevins of Raytown,and a brother Gary Smith and his wife Mary of Greensburg, Pa. and a sister-in-law, Peggy Allison and a number of cousins and nieces and nephews from Pa.
Erma came to KC at the age of 17 and worked at the Nazarene Publishing House as a subscription clerk/mailing clerk until she retired in 2001.
Erma has been a long time, faithful member of St. Paul's Church of the Nazarene.
A service of celebration will be held at St. Paul's Church of the Nazarene on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 11:00am with Rev Rebecca Jones officiating.
