He was at one time or another affiliated with Delano School, Marshal State School, Whole Person and Cerebral Palsy Association. He was employed at Southeast Enterprises before he moved to Beautiful Savior. Ernie was also a member at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Kansas City, MO.

Ernie is survived by his sister, Patricia; brother, Ken and his wife; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will take place at 10 AM on Monday, June 20 at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO. Please dress for the hot summer weather.
