I am very sad to just learn of Mrs Lozano 's passing. She was always such a warm & lovable lady whose smile brightened the room. God bless you & comfort you.

My sweet Uncle Ray....thank you for taking such great care of my Aunt Sheada.   I know that she was the love of your life.  Rosie and I will miss how she never forgot who you were "her Poppy".   She left you with a beautiful familia to continue to love and be loved.  You have been on my mind since I said my goodbye to my beautiful Aunt.  Know that Rosie and I are there in spirit and will see you as soon as I get back into Kansas City.  Take care of yourself.  God bless you.  May my aunts soul rest in peace.

Many of us who had the chance to share a part of their lives with "Chata", can recall many fond memories of her.Growing up next door to her on Summit I can recall many. One act of kindness that I still remember to this day was the time she sent over a bunch of homemade pizza.My mom was in the hospital giving birth to the twins and being such a good neighbor she made sure the Zapien crew did not go hungry. May the Lord continue to watch over the Lozano family and help to comfort them during this difficult time.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss.  The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

I was so  sorry to hear of Chata's passing. So many fond memories of your mom will never be forgotten. I think about the fun Summer nights on the stoop every time I'm on Summit; I can still remember how she would yell for CeCe and Sally to come in, and how we would try to stretch the night while she continued to call your names. I will remember her most for the many times she forced CeCe to give her bicycle to me, so that I could learn to ride.  We all had so many mothers to take care of us on Summit,it was a great place full of memories we won't soon forget. May all those warm memories comfort you in your sorrow. I myself am picturing Chata taking scissors to Helen's hair while discussing how Ray is competing to out do her with outside Christmas decorations. God's blessings to all of you.

So sorry for you loss Uncle Ray.  I have so many special memories of you and Aunt Sheada.  Although you werenot really my aunt and uncle I still called you that.  You always made me feel like family.  Prayers go out to you Uncle Ray and the family.  She will forever be in your hearts.  RIP Aunt Sheada.

We will miss Aunt Sheada very much.  We were so sorry to hear of passing away.  I have so many fond memories of her life. Aunt Sheada had a special nickname for me.  She always called me "Me Me" (pronounced with a short e) whenever I would come to visit her. On Friday nights the Lozano's would go to a drive-in restaurant (I think it was on Main Street - can't remember the name.  I want to say Winsteads, but not sure) for hamburgers, etc., Helping to make tamales for Christmas.  She and my mom were my first teachers of learning how to cook.  She also made good Waldorf Salad.  Aunt Sheada, Uncle Ray, and the kids were a special part of my life. She held a very special place in John's heart too.   John and I now live in Marietta, GA and would come visit anytime we were in Kansas City.  We will miss her terribly, but we know that she is now at peace and in a special place up above with all her loved ones already there - my special stars that I look up to every night up above.  We wish we could be there with the family to say our final goodbyes, but we are experiencing very bad snow weather.  Our dear Aunt Sheada will be in our hearts and prayers, along with all our loving memories to hang on to.  Uncle Ray, Rafael, Joey, CeCe, Sally, and Roseanne (and all your families) will be in our thoughts and prayers during this very sad time, and also ask God to shield you with His cloak and give all of you comfort and peace. I can't believe that she's gone. Yes Christina, there weren't very many grandmas like her. I always thought of your grandparents as being "super" grandparents... that they will live forever! Aunt Esther will be missed beyond words. The many years I spent with her as a kid will never be forgotten.  Her loving ways and bubbly personality made an impression that still lives in me today.
