Dean was born in Butler, MO to Claude and Eula Wendleton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jesse of 45 years, and her brother Jimmy.
Dean grew up in Butler, MO and at about 12 years old the family moved to Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Northeast High School. Earlier in her short working career Dean worked for about 4 years as a nurses aid at Children’s Mercy Hospital and then a few years at Montgomery Ward in the catalog department.
She met the love of her life, Jesse, married, and became a homemaker for the rest of her life.
Dean was a simple woman and led a simple life. She was a member of the Ladies Oriental Shrine Tara Court in Kansas City, MO and acted as a page at their ceremony gatherings. Dean loved crafts, music, dancing, and animals. She had a great love for dogs and had many throughout her life. For many years she watched her favorite, Wheel of Fortune on television and listened to the Sunday night blues radio show.
Dean is survived by a son, Rick Wrisinger, of Belton, MO; grandsons: Travis Wrisinger and Tyler Wrisinger both of Blue Springs, MO; great grandson Myles Wrisinger; brother Cecil Wendleton of Lee’s Summit, MO and several nieces and nephews.
Dean truly loved her family and friends.
