Evelyn C. Gordon, age 95, of Fairway, KS, passed away on March 29, 2016. Visitation at 1PM on Friday, April 1, at Olivet Baptist Church, 4901 Mission Rd, Westwood, KS, with funeral at 2PM. Burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Ersel F. Gordon and 6 siblings. She is survived by her daughters Sherry Shrimplin (Marvin), Connie Mai (Terry), Bobbi Cook (Bruce); 8 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Evelyn was a member of Olivet Baptist Church. She was involved with the Senior Arts Council of Johnson County. She was a seamstress, an artist, and a witness for her Lord.
