Evelyn was born August 20, 1922 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of George and Mary (Agrapides) Isariotis.
She was an Office Manager for Posty Cards for 40 years and a longtime member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Melvin McCartney, son, Dr. James (Jim) McCartney and three brothers, Chris, Tom and Angelo.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Ellen Upton and husband, Eddie of Kansas City, Missouri, daughter in law, Patti McCartney of Austin, Texas, two granddaughters, Lindsay of Austin, Texas and Jamie of Fountain, Colorado.
A visitation will start at 11:30 am with the funeral service for Evelyn following on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO 64131 with a private burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
