Evelyn Louise Pollard, 86, Kansas City, MO passed away August 31, 2016. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 3, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Evelyn was born December 22, 1930 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Arthur M. and Louise Pollard. She graduated from Lafayette High School in St. Joseph. Evelyn had worked as a secretary in the Kansas City area, retiring after 35 years. She was a longtime member of Community Christian Church on the Plaza.
She was preceded in death by her father and her stepmother, who raised her. Evelyn is survived by her sister Lyla and her husband Risdon Hankinson of Bartlesville, OK, one niece and four nephews.
