Everett Muril McMillin

Everett "Rocky" Muril McMillin age 72 from Greenwood, MO passed away peacefully on June 6th, 2026. Born on November 19th, 1953, in Arcata, CA to Jackie and Ruth McMillin. He spent much of his life working on semi-trailers but was known for how fiercely he loved his wife and two daughters.

Rocky enjoyed all the simple things in life. You could find him out on the lake with his wife Annette, trying to fish, but ultimately dropping his fishing pole in the water. They never caught much, but this was their happy place.

Rocky was very active in the coaching and developing of his daughter, Danielle's love of softball. However, they could always be found talking about sports in any capacity.

In his spare time away from the field, Rocky and Chelsea loved taking long country drives in search of their favorite view - black cows grazing on green pastures. With the windows down, country music playing, and conversations about anything and everything, those drives became the foundation of the unbreakable bond they shared.

He is survived by his wife, Annette, and two daughters, Danielle (Badreddine) and Chelsea (Eric). Rocky had one granddaughter, Safia Djennelbaroud, daughter of Danielle. Two sisters, Janet Kalwei (Marc - deceased), Justin and his wife Amanda and 3 kids. Sherri Lawson (Leroy, son Jordan, deceased)

He was preceded in death by his mother, father, grandmother Rosalee Houseworth and Uncle William Houseworth.

Visitation will be held on Friday June 12th, 2026 at Newcomer's Floral Hills 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd Kansas City, MO 64082 starting at 1 pm. Services at 2pm and funeral procession will be at 3 pm to Floral Hills East Memorial Gardens.
