Faustina C. Gregory, age 86, of Kansas City, MO, passed away April 25, 2020 in Independence Manor Care Center, Independence, MO. She was born February 15, 1934 in Ewa Beach, Oahu, Hawaii to Pablo Opus & Luisa (Cinnasap) Mira.
Faustina was blest to meet and marry the love of her life, Jack R. Gregory; to this union five children were born. She loved her family very much.
Faustina had a heart of gold and a beautiful contagious smile. She spent the last part of her life making waterproof mats out of plastic bags (700 plus per mat) for the homeless to sleep on. She finished 67 of them. Faustina never met a stranger, every new friend she encountered left knowing that she was at Pearl Harbor on the day it was bombed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons, Paul and Wendall and a brother.
Left to cherish Faustina’s memory are her children, Byron Gregory, Terry Watson and Mira Christine Clark; her sister, Calista Teevan; sister-in-law, Nancy Presley and other loving family and friends.
Faustina's legacy includes 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed.
