Faye Bruner

Funeral services will be held at Raymore Christian Church, 500 Peace Drive, Raymore, MO, 64083. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 11:00AM and the memorial service will be held at 11:00AM. With a reception following at 12:00PM.

Faye was born on April 28, 1942, in Clinton, North Carolina to Wilbert & Brilla Cannady. In 1959 her family moved to Westminster, Colorado. She attended Westminster High School & completed her senior year. She lived in Westminster and worked in Denver, Colorado for 49 years. Faye began her career with the New York Life Insurance Company on June 13, 1960, and worked there until June 13, 2005, which was her 45th anniversary with the Company when she retired. She held many positions and advanced with the Company. The thing she enjoyed most was all the wonderful people she worked with and the many friends she still has. She moved to Raymore, MO in 2007.

Faye was a member of the American Business Women's Association for 17 years and was honored as Woman of the Year twice. She served as President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, and was Chairwoman on each of the Chapter committees. She is a member of the Raymore Christian Church and has enjoyed many friendships there.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Rich & Sandy Cannady of Monterey, CA; sister & brother-in-law, Ann & Phil Taylor of Raymore, MO; nieces, Paula Alcaraz and her husband Emilio of Monterey, CA, and Michele Taylor of Grandview, MO; and nephew, Michael and his wife Jennifer of Olathe, KS.; four great-nephews and two great-nieces, Daniel and Sarah Alcaraz of Monterey, CA, Michael Alcaraz of San Diego, CA, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Madelyn and William Taylor of Olathe, KS.

In lieu of flowers Faye has requested contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
