Felix was a lifelong area resident. He attended St. Peter’s Catholic grade school and Rockhurst high school. He was one of the first wholesale auto brokers in the area and did that for over 50 years, retiring in 2006. He attended St. Michael’s church and was an avid card player, loved singing “Che La Luna”, “Oh Marie”, “Buona Sera” and dancing as well as following the stock market daily with his daughter. He was a great storyteller and drew a crowd wherever he went with his charismatic and humorous personality. Felix was a “foodie” before it was a thing and cars were his passion. He loved Louis Prima songs, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and “Super Freak” by Rick James as well just to name a few artists. He of course was an avid KC Chiefs fan and loved to watch it with his son. He adored watching his 9yr old grandson grow up and play all kinds of sports. His parents owned and operated Maranzino’s Restaurant on Wornall Rd. for several years.
