Fern Mildred (Gage) Wade Goodwin was born in St. Charles, MO on September 25, 1926 to Minnie Eulia (Holland) Gage and Loyd Elles Gage. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Vandon L. Goodwin Jr.; her parents and brother, Harold Gage. Surviving her is sister, Eulia Wisby of KCMO; her daughters, Terri (Wade) Vassar Whitton (Dwight) of Clinton, MO, Sandra (Wade) Williams of Lee’s Summit, MO, Windy (Goodwin) Vassar Hamilton (David) of Reno, NV and son, Vandon L. Goodwin III (Jackie) of Shawnee Mission, KS; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren with two more arriving in March and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Service will be 2pm, Wednesday, January 22 with visitation one hour prior at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Chapel, 801 NW 108th Street, KCMO 64155. Burial will follow the service.
