Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 20th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, burial in White Chapel Cemetery. A visitation is from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Contributions are suggested to Stonebridge Senior Living.
Floyd was born June 23, 1926 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Floyd and Elizabeth Cain. He was a 1944 graduate of North Kansas City High School and was a life-long northland resident. Floyd was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1944-1946. In 1944 he married Marjorie Ann Stone and they enjoyed 68 years of marriage. He was a meat cutter for Safeway for more than 44 years. Floyd was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church. He devoted his life to taking care of his children and family. Floyd had an incredible love for his family and enjoyed spending time watching his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren participate in all activities. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Marjorie Ann; and a son, David Cain.
Survivors include daughter, Judy Gorham; sons, Benny Cain, Steve Cain and Jeff Cain; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; and dearly beloved pet dachshund, Mattie.
