

Francine Lucretia McCummings, 59, Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at her home. A Service of Remembrance will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 15 at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd. Kansas City, Missouri. Friends may call Sunday 5-8 p.m. at the chapel.
Francine was born on November 2, 1946 in Bronx, New York to Sampson & Blanche (Snyder) Boone. She was an executive secretary for the mayors of Paterson, New Jersey, Graves & Pasquel. During her life in Kansas City, she was a corrections officer for the Kansas City Police Department. She enjoyed cultural arts such as theater and opera, and was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Francine was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene McCummings, Sr. in 1987. She is survived by her sons, Eugene McCummings, Jr. of Paterson, New Jersey, Chris McCummings and wife, Arteria, of Eagle River, Alaska, Damion McCummings and wife Gloria, of Tampa, Florida; brother, Carnell Daniels and wife Wanda, of Bronx, New York; sister, Betty Rinfret and husband Warren, of Kansas City, Missouri; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
