Frank L. Riehl

Frank L. Riehl of Sun City West, Ariz., formerly of Overland Park, Kan., made the journey into the next life on July 26, 2010. The family will receive friends at the visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, July 30, at McGilley State Line Chapel, immediately followed by a rite of Christian burial. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or to the American Diabetes Association . Frank was born Feb. 25, 1931, in Kansas City, Mo. An MU alumni, he served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954. A broker and trust investment officer for many years, he was also an avid golfer. Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Madelyn M. Riehl. He is survived by his aunt, Marian Goodfellow of Raytown, Mo.; five children, Sally Barber (Rex) of Colorado Springs, Colo., Patty Riehl of Glendale, Ariz., Jim Riehl (Laura) of Overland Park, Kan., Margaret Frazier (Darrell) of Akron, Ohio, and Judy Wainwright (Tim) of Cary, NC; and nine grandchildren.
