Craig could really play the horn in H. S. band. I think we all enjoyed our band days.  I had one date with him.  He was a good person to know. Never saw him after H. S. , but I am sure he brought joy to all who knew him.

So sorry to hear about Craig. God bless his family and I send my deepest sympathy. I was just talking with my sister telling her I dated two boys in H. S. one being Craig Bennett.  She said she had a crush on him, and she is 4 yrs. younger than I.  I was a year ahead of Craig, but we shared goods times in band. I played French horn so we were not too far apart. He was a super person and friend. Little did I know we have probably lived so close together all these years with me being in Raytown.  After my recent conversation about him I was going to try & look him up & talk about the 'ole school days. Seems I have been too late a few times recently.  I hope Craig's life was not too bad before he left. I know he is in a better place now. Stay strong, and God be with you.


Craig was a wonderful loving man. Our families have known each other for 44 years. We have had so much fun together, Craig always made us laugh and made us feel happy. My children loved " Mr. Bennett" A very special memory was our cruise to the Panama Canal. Gloria and Craig, Carole and Jim Ramsey and my husband Doug and I. We had so much fun together laughing and rooting for the Kansas City Royals during the World Series. We called ourselves the RoyKans . We wore our Royals shirts and so many people on the ship  rooted along with us! 
We lost our dear,  sweet friend Craig ,however, our happy memories of being together will always make us smile. Craig is still watching over you with love  dear Gloria.

Craig and I worked together at mortgage companies since about 1966, so that is how long we were co-workers and good friends.  So many memories of the great times and funny stories we shared.  I'll certainly miss him, as I know hundreds of others will.  He was a special one of a kind of person and well liked.  Gloria, and family, I know life will never be the same for you, but I pray that your memories will comfort you.

Craig and I sat next to each other in the school orchestra during high school in Jefferson City, MO; he was a really good trumpet player.
