Visitation will take place from 10:00am to 11:00am followed by a 11:00am funeral service on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri. Burial will follow at Mount Moriah Cemetery South.
Fredye was born in 1936 in Knob Knoster, Missouri. She was a long time member of the Moose Lodge #10. Fredye was a Texas Snowbird, who loved socializing & playing cards with friends. Fredye loved cooking and hosting family gatherings.
Fredye is survived by her sister Dixie Boston; son Danny & Geanie Taylor; daughter Julie Medley; daughter Paula & Chuck Hemme; along with 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Larry Ditmars and her parents Jesse & Frances Vickrey.
