Gary Edward Walker was born April 24, 1960 in Washington D.C. to Garfield and Patsy Walker. At 18 years old, he joined the Marines and served his country faithfully. After returning home, Gary married his beloved wife, Annette, on June 7, 1986. Gary is survived by his father Garfield Walker; his two sisters Viki Woolley (Husband Greg) and Debbie Dalton (Husband Mark); his wife Annette Walker; his three children Heather Walker, Holly Robin (Husband Ben), and Garrett Walker (Wife Micaela); his grandson Oliver Robin; and numerous nieces and nephews who all loved Gary dearly. Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Walker.

The visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00am at Antioch Bible Baptist Church on Saturday, January 18th with the memorial service beginning at 11am. The burial will be taking place at Leavenworth National Cemetery— 150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048 — on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 10am where military honors will be observed to honor the life and service of Gary Walker.
