Dearest Patti and family, I remember George very well from my days with Patti in Sweet Adelines.  Patti, I am so sorry for your loss.  Thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Patti and family,  I met George at Sweetlife.  He was so much fun when he sang, which I am sure he enjoyed doing, particularly some "old" songs from his childhood in the orphanage.  I always laughed when he kissed my hand with his nice smile.  I missed him when he left.  Marta Padula

Dearest Patti and family,
George and I were good friends for over 50 years.  We first met in Morristown, NJ where George was teaching and developing the "Network Management School".  We next connected  about 4 years later when we both worked for Gil Dorr in St. Louis, MO.  George and I not only worked together but we played golf together every Saturday morning.  We always had the first tee off time and actually tee'd off in the dark.  George and I also rode to work everyday together.  During those morning rides we got to know each other very well.  We shared happiness and sorrow while commuting.  I would say I probably know George better than most people outside of his immediate family.  We shared joy's and problems and we talked about times in the military that I doubt he discussed with others.  George was very proud of the work he did and one of his greatest achievements was having two "hole's in one" on the golf course.  He never let me forget that he had two and I had none.  As a matter of fact, one of our last conversations when he was in the conversant home he reminded me of his golfing achievement. 

George got transferred from St. Louis to Kansas City and he was instrumental in Stan Arnold to move me also to Kansas City.  I still believe he wanted me in KC so our Saturday golf games and our $.25 matches would continue.  When we traveled for AT&T, George and I would play Gin Rummy on the airplane from the time it took off to the time it landed and I doubt that $.50 ever changed hands. However, you would never know that by the amount of noise we each made over our bets.

I will personally miss George and I hope that you, Patti, will remain in contact with Norma and me.  He was a dear, dear friend and he will be missed.

I only knew him a little.  However I knew his children to be smart, talented and beatuiful people.   A reflection of him.    He was a great carpool dad the little time I was with him he was always optimistic.     Have a great time in heaven Mr. Bahorich!!!!   -

I never knew George, but I was well aware of his football legacy at Knox College.  He was regarded by the coaches in the Midwest Conference as one of the two best Guards in the conference for the decade of the 1940s.  He has recently been nominated for the Knox - Lombard Athletic Hall of Fame.

We certainly liked George. Played golf with him, played bridge against him, went out to meals with him. He was a likeable fellow. We naturally wish Patti the best. We also had fun visit with them in Phoenix.

I work with George while in St Louis. He was a wonderful man, a mentor and true inspiration. He will be missed.

I have shared a long friendship with George and Patti since the early 1950's when he was a young engineer with AT&T. He was a good man, faithful husband and father..so very proud of his children and their children. I have you all in my thoughts and prayers at this time.
