George J. Duncanso, 85, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away February 22, 2016, leaving his sisters, Evelyn Harper and Barbara McKiddy, nephew, Steve Cowan, whom he considered his son, nieces, Patti Bonewell and Joyce Harper, and other nieces and nephews.
George was born March 5, 1930, in Palisade, Nebraska to George and Vergie Duncanson. Although he was born with life challenges, he always had a smile on his face and a positive attitude. He had worked for Pennzoil, retiring when he was 65. He had a passion for carpentry, remodeling cars, building model planes and playing cards.
He was preceded in death by his parents; the love of his life, wife, Harriet; and brother, Roger Duncanson.
He leaves his sisters Evelyn Harper, Barbara McKiddy, (who was her brother’s keeper) and husband, Richard; the light of his life, nephew Steven R. Cowan and wife, Kathy; niece Patti Bonewell and husband, David; grand nephews Matt Cowan and wife, Edi and their son, Sebastin; Bennett Arnold Mankins, III, and his daughter Cadence, along with other numerous nieces and nephews.
He has left for Heaven to be with family and friends. We are so proud of him and will miss him dearly.
