George P. Jackson, 85, passed away February 10, 2013. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on February 14 at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on February 15 at Grace Point Baptist Church, 10415 Chestnut Drive, Kansas City, Missouri. George was an Engineer at the VA Hospital in Kansas City and a Deacon at his Church for 35 years. He was preceded in death by his twin sister and 10 other siblings. He is survived by his wife Anna Lou (Ann) Jackson and their children Steve, David, Dennis, Karen, and Keith along with seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren; plus many nieces and nephews. George loved his family and friends as they did him. His lifelong passion was fishing and hunting with his loved ones. In lieu of flowers memorial tributes maybe made to Grace Point Baptist Church or Kansas City Hospice.
