Georgena McCullough, 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 26, 2018. She was a woman of great character and of strong Christian faith, an example and legacy that she passed on to her two children, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Georgena was born in 1932 in New York City , the daughter of Irish immigrant parents. She married her husband Ken in 1950 and his job as a civil engineer led them to travel and live all over the world. They lived at various times in London, Paris, Australia and South Africa. They settled in Houston, TX and after Ken's death Georgena lived in Omaha, NE and most recently Lee's Summit, MO.
Georgena is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth John McCullough. Survived by her daughters, Joanne Bisbee of Omaha, NE, Janet Krystyniak and husband Mark of Lee's Summit, MO; grandchildren, Kelly Krystyniak of Washington DC, Daniel and wife Emily Krystyniak of Blue Springs, MO, Katherine and husband Nick Glassey of Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren, Sam, Will and Caroline Krystyniak and Carson and Ella Glassey.
Georgena will be greatly missed, but her family takes comfort in knowing that she is now at peace with our Lord Jesus Christ. They look forward to a joyful reunion in heaven.
