Mrs. G. Jane Nutt was born on November 11, 1925 in Ottawa, Kansas. She was the daughter of Ralph S. McCrea and Ruth Elma (Ames) McCrea. Richmond, Kansas was her childhood home, but her whole life was spent in Kansas City.
After school, she wed Robert L. Nutt in 1943. She had three children and was the homemaker, keeping the house through constant hard work. She later worked on the office staff for the Kansas City schools. Also, the Presbyterian Church was a primary focus of very active service.
Jane was preceded in death by all her immediate family except for one younger brother, and her spouse Robert L. Nutt.
She is survived by her children Donna, Robert Jr., and Rich; daughter-in-law Mary (?), four grandkids, four great-grandkids, nieces and nephews, and extended family.
A visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on April 11, 2026 at Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens following the service.
