Gerald "Jerry" Warren Williams, 86 of Gladstone, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. He was born on May 9, 1940 in Kansas City, Missouri to Harry Ray and Anna Marie (Moulder) Williams. A graduate of Rockhurst College, Jerry worked as a comptroller. On June 8,1984, he was ordained a Permanent Deacon for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kansas City/St. Joseph, MO. He served as a deacon at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church where he also served as a pastoral associate.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Ray Allan and Anna Marie; and sister-in-law, Helene Williams. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Ann Williams; sons, Paul Allan Williams (Carla) and Patrick Gerald Williams (Shannon); daughter, Amy Christine Devine (Daniel); brother, Thomas Simon Williams; grandchildren, Siera & (Preston) Lyons, Jena & (Cody) Moring, Cody Williams, Kate Marie & (Zach) Murri, Joseph Williams, Addison Gray. Josie Ann Devine, Drake &(Riley) Devine, Bernie Devine; great-grandchildren, Arlo & Scarlett Lyons and Wyatt Moring. Jerry was a very loving and caring person. He especially loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were the light of his eye.
Services will be Saturday, June 27, 2026 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 900 NE Shady Ln Dr, Kansas City, MO 64118, where a rosary will be prayed at 8:30 AM followed by visitation until 10:30 AM. The Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 AM Saturday followed by a parish luncheon in Borromeo Hall. A committal service will be at 1:00 PM Saturday at Resurrection Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to St. Charles Borromeo Church or St. Pius X High School Girls Sports.
