Geraldine M. Fredericksen, 82, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away June 12, 2014 at Kansas City Hospice House. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 16, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fredericksen was born November 14, 1931 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Frank G. and Ruth E. (Charlton) Paden. She retired from McGrew Color Graphics. She enjoyed reading and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Leo Fredericksen in 1986 and two daughters Diana and Sharon in 2009. Mrs. Fredericksen is survived by her son Michael Fredericksen of Kansas City, Missouri; daughter Cheryl Hinckle and husband Kevin of Shawnee, Kansas; sister Nancy Paden of St. Joseph, Missouri; grandchildren Brian, Theresa, Jake, Scott and Sean; and great-grandchildren Madison, Titan, Isabel and Alma. She is also survived by her beloved dog Buddy.
