Geribeth was born to Marvin J. and Betty Lee Lhuillier on June 15, 1945. She was raised in Osawatomie alongside her brother, Dennis of Longview, TX.
After high school, she attended St. Luke's School of Nursing in Kansas City, MO. She loved helping others and worked as a nurse for over 40 years. She married Richard Auslander in 1969 and settled in Overland Park where they lovingly raised a daughter and a son.
Geribeth was a long-standing and active member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood and was known for her kindness and genuine desire to contribute to the lives of everyone she met. Her energy and love for life and others around her was truly unique. This lives on through her legacy. She cherished her time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 51 years, Rick.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Auslander (Steve Blakley) of Parker, CO, her son, Jeff (Lynn) of Overland Park, the grandchildren she adored, Hailey, Max, Maddie, and Anna, and her brother, Dennis Lhuillier.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd at Holy Spirit Catholic Parish which is located at 11300 W. 103rd Street, Overland Park, KS 66214. Visitation will begin at 9:30am with a Eulogy at 10:45am and Mass at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the P. E.O. Chapter HJ Scholarship Fund in Memory of Geribeth Auslander (a 501 (c) (4) non-profit). Make checks payable to P.E.O.
