Glenda Pearl Stevenson, 81, passed away September 17, 2017. Visitation Wednesday, Sept. 20, 6-8 PM; Funeral Service Thursday, Sept. 21, 10:00 AM at Floral Hills Funeral Home 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd., KC, MO 64133.
Glenda Stevenson was born April 20, 1936, in Kansas City, MO. She was a lifelong Kansas City resident. She worked at Burstein Applebee in the purchasing department as a supervisor for over 20 years. She was a member of the VFW ladies auxiliary in Belton, MO. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and a variety of crafts. She loved volunteering her time towards helping the community in any capacity she was able.
She was preceded in death by her father Richard Stevenson, her mother Merle Stevenson, a sister Martha Martin, and a brother John Stevenson. She is survived by her older sister Barbara North, her sister-in-law Eileen Stevenson, her half-brother Wayne Mullins, 2 stepsons- Jim Wilson and Tim Wilson, 2 step grandchildren- Chris Wilson and John Wilson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
