Gloria Marie Austin, age 85, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away on August 30, 2015. Visitation to be held from 6 to 8PM on Tuesday, September 8, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, as well as 1PM on Wednesday, September 9, until time of service at 2PM. Burial to be held at a later date.
Gloria was born August 3, 1930 in Ransomville, NY. Gloria worked in retail sales for several years of her life, but what she enjoyed most was her job teaching children. She loved her Lord greatly, as was evidenced by her passion to distribute Christian literature and to see lost souls saved.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Wendell Austin and her daughter Lindsay Alcorn. She is survived by her daughter Julie Morse and her husband Brad Morse, grandchildren Nate Morse and Dana Morse, all of Midland, Michigan; brothers Dave Foster of Niagara Falls, New York, and Don Foster of South Bend, Indiana.
