Gloria Jean Isles, 77, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011, at The Groves. Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 18, at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 3601 S. Sterling Avenue, Independence, Missouri, 64052. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, Gloria was born February 16, 1933 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Charles W. and Edna Marie (Yost) Arnold. She had worked as a switchboard operator in the banking industry. She is survived by her son David D. Isles IV; daughters Gloria M. Isles and Bonnie L. McGuiggan and husband Michael; brother Charles Arnold; half-sister Josephine; grandchildren David D. Isles V, Destiny D. Isles, Michael L. McGuiggan Jr., and Michelle R.
