Gloria Joann O’Connor, 86, of Kansas City, MO passed away peacefully on February 16, 2012 at St. Luke’s Hospital. A memorial mass will be held 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25 at Redemptorist Catholic Church, 3333 Broadway, with visitation an hour prior to service.
Gloria was born April 18, 1925 in Conception, MO to Robert and Christina (Berg) Merrigan. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Robert and Larry Merrigan. She is survived by husband, Joseph O’Connor; sons, John McMahon (Ingrid) and Jerry McMahon (Judith); daughter, Margaret Paul; sisters-in-law, Helen and Ann Merrigan; 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was a parishioner at Redemptorist Church.
